Dear All,
My name is Tania Barlow and on 14th October 2002 I took the part-time post of Warsop Parish Clerk and Editor of the Warsop and District News, replacing the former post holder, Steve Bowman.
I am proud to say that I have lived in Warsop all of my life (er... a little over 40 years). I have been educated here and have worked as a Travel Agent and a Barmaid in the Town as well as Manager of the Town Hall, so I have 'got to know' and 'understand' a good deal of the residents of Warsop. I am married to Kev, who was also born and bred in Warsop and has worked at Welbeck Pit since leaving Meden School. Kev and I have a son, Joe, who currently attends Primary School in Warsop.
I hope that during my time as Parish Clerk I can do my very best for Warsop and help the Town to be a 'nice place' for Joe and all of his friends to grow up in and be proud of.

My office is situated in the Town Hall, Church Street, Market Warsop and I will be there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 3pm. The Warsop and District News is now produced in full colour and is distributed to around 5,000 homes in Market Warsop, Church Warsop, Old Church Warsop, Warsop Vale, Meden Vale and Spion Kop. If you would like to place an advert in the Warsop and District News the charges are as follows:

All adverts and articles should reach me by the 12th of the month, to be published in the following month's edition of Warsop and District News. Papers will be delivered around the 1st day of the month.
e.g. Adverts for the December edition should be in by 12th November. The December edition of the paper will be delivered around the 1st December.
