Touch With Your Community
You may have seen the new Community Notice Boards appearing around the parish, These are designed to keep your community in touch with the many groups, activities and events that are happening around your area and have been provided by Mansfield District Council. Boards are currently in place in Meden Vale, Church Warsop, Warsop Vale and on the Carrs. Other boards will soon be installed in Warsop and Spion Kop. Information will be maintained by local groups in each area. If you have any information that you wish to place on display please contact Louise or Julie at Warsop Parish Regeneration Agency on 840005 for your local contact. |
Dori's Gateway Garden A
newly landscaped garden has recently been launched in the parish.
Mansfield District Council in partnership with the Warsop Parish Regeneration
Agency have turned a piece of wasteland at the tip of Warsop high
Street into an area of relaxation and tranquility. The garden also
attempts to create a stronger sense of place, by making passing traffic
and visitors to the area more aware of the facilities available in
the town centre. The garden has been named after Warsop resident Dori Bonsall, in recognition of her voluntary contributions to the parish. The garden scheme is part of a larger package of town centre improvements and regeneration projects that are being delivered in Warsop. Other projects include: Building
improvement grants and business advice |
